2008 July > Workshop Gallery Inc.

The debut of Scott Brewster’s acrylic collection Wild Growth/Waters Edge and Brenda Diabo’s glass and silver jewelry took place at The Gallery Workshop Inc. in the Danforth community. Scott is a Torontonian who exchanged his pencils for acrylics and focuses on nature as a subject of interest and expression. Perhaps it is his roots as a scuba diver or his fascination with the ocean that drives him to create his breathtaking scenic art, but the end result is appreciated by any onlooker. Silversmith and glass artist Brenda Diabo hails all the way from Dartmouth, NS where she creates her original jewelry by combining the two elements. Although Diabo’s artwork doesn’t fit in to the category of conventional, anyone can see that art is exactly what she makes. Her exceptional attention to detail and obvious ability craft enticing pieces. Workshop Gallery is located at 1018 Coxwell Avenue.
