2008 July > Gledhill Park Clean Up

For the past few months community clean ups have been on the rise and for all the right reasons, such as annual events and re-construction of parks. However for the neighbours and friends of Gledhill Park, the community clean up has been constant and for all the wrong reasons. Recently Gledhill park has had its fair share problems with leftover garbage and poor maintenance. Dozens of neighbours have made a note of the situation and are looking for a positive change with the help of local councillor Janet Davis. Janet along with Gledhill neighbours volunteered to help clean up the park this past month, and made a list of issues that need to be attended to. They are well on their way to turning Gledhill around thanks to the initiative of local citizens who wanted more for their neighbourhood.
