2008 July > Flag Rugby for Youngsters

An excited group of young rugby players rushed the field at Neil MacNeil for an informative practice session and quick pick up game. Children ranged in ages from 8 to 10, and their excitement over the game showed on the field as these future players wanted to score! Coaches Scott and Bill from the Balmy Beach Club led the kids through a few drills to help them better understand the game and its rules. Afterwards two groups were split up into four teams and played a stop and go game of flag rugby. For more information about getting involved with Flag Rugby, please call Bill Salter at 416 691 4240.
