2008 July > Leslieville Tree Festival

Friends of the environment united and celebrated at the Leslieville Tree Festival at Leslie Grove Park. This fun-filled family event provided green enthusiasts with a native plant sale, environmental displays, vendors and delicious foods. Several activities were also available for the kids, including entertaining performances. The Lelieville Tree Festival would be non-existent without the help of organizers LEAF (Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forests), Councillor Paula Fletcher and Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation. Check out Leslie Grove Park's beauties at corner of Queen St. E and Jones. For more information about upcoming events and ongoing initiatives visit www.leaftoronto.org.
