2008 July > Stan Wadlow Park Clubhouse Clean Up

Dozens were out in attendance lending a helping hand for Stan Wadlow's Park Clubhouse Clean Up this past month. Ongoing activities and games kept active children busy, and booths were set up by local green shops and businesses. Guests were provided with free top soil, thanks to sponsor and Councillor Janet Davis. This always popular feature meant that many, many people walked away with high quality dirt to tantalize their gardens and bring a taste of the city to their flowers this year to keep the spirit of the day alive all season long. And coffee and a few already done plants, were on hand. Amidst the dirt digging were many smiles and lots of laughter as the community got together and got to know one another on another, greener, level.
