2008 July > Wild in the City!
SNAP ventured over to the Evergreen Brick Works to get a taste of a spectacular event being held in one of Toronto's most unique heritage buildings - before it undergoes its completely green transformation. Starting this fall, the Brick Works is going to be transormed into Canada's first full-scale environmental centre - right in our own backyard. Guests showed up in droves to offer their support and funds for this worthy undertaking.
And this was an evening to remember as Jamie Kennedy served up dinner to the guests who paid $500 a ticket to be there. They got their money's worth with performances by the Canadian Tenors, pop violinist Dr. Drew, aerialists, improve dancers and even fire dancers performing. To visit the Brick Works, head to 550 Bayview Avenue - perhaps for the Saturday Farmer's market or visit www.evergreen.ca for upcoming events.
