2008 July > Community Clean Up Day On a beautiful Saturday morning in early June, locals proved once again that they love the city's sponsored Clean up days as they showed up to dig dirt, ditch old paint and pick up new bins.
An energetic team was on hand to help as visitors dropped off various restricted items and picked up new tips and tools to assist them in helping the environment through their individual house and yardwork. Several booths were set up including one for event sponsor, City Councillor Sandra Bussin, and collectively, through tireless work, and the swapping of advice and guidance, exhibitors and participants made for a very informative and fun-filled day.
Thanks to Sandra Bussin for sponsoring the event and all others for coming out on both sides to make it a success. For more environment days, visit, www.toronto.ca/environment_days.
